Qwest has extended their networking agreement with outdoor advertising company Baton Rouge, a $1.2 million deal.Qwest Communications International Inc. (NYSE: Q) today announced that it has extended a two-year, approximately $1.2 million voice and data networking agreement with Baton Rouge, La.-based Lamar Advertising Company, a leading owner and operator of outdoor advertising and logo sign displays.
Using Qwest’s Private Routed Network solution, Lamar Advertising will be able to transfer large amounts of complex data between almost 200 office locations in a safe, reliable and quick manner that unifies dedicated voice and data services on one platform to streamline communications. Qwest services also will enable Lamar Advertising to securely deploy and scale intranets and extranets, to connect mobile professionals and telecommuters, and protect corporate computing resources cost-effectively.
