Qwest Communications International Inc. (NYSE: Q) today announced it has signed a new two-year contract with Leavitt Group Enterprises to be the exclusive provider of its voice and data networks. The Leavitt Group is the largest Utah-based insurance brokerage and the 20th largest independent insurance sales organization in the United States.Qwest will migrate the Leavitt Group's existing frame relay network to an iQ Networking solution. The Qwest service will offer the Leavitt Group Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), a centralized data network, increased bandwidth and centralized Internet access. Qwest iQ Networking will allow the Leavitt Group to reduce its overall expenses and control costs by combining data and voice applications.
